Sarah graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2004. She has worked across a variety of clinical areas including the inpatient cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis service, thoracic surgery, acute medical wards, and the intensive care units and respiratory outpatient clinics in the Midlands before relocating down to Dorset in 2012. She has been a respiratory specialist physiotherapist since 2006 and has experience working for the community therapy team in Dorset providing advice and exercise programmes for patients with complex, multiple pathologies alongside their main respiratory condition.
She also works for Royal Bournemouth Hospital on the acute medical wards and balances her NHS and private work with family life. She loves living in Dorset and exploring all the beautiful places it has to offer.
Throughout her career, Sarah has been passionate about working closely with the patient to establish what their needs are, not just treating their clinical condition. She also believes strongly in the benefits that physiotherapy can bring to any patient managing a long term respiratory condition.
