Leah is a passionate and empathetic Physiotherapist who is dedicated to providing accessible, person-centred and high-quality care. She enjoys finding innovative and engaging therapeutic exercises and functional activities to incorporate into sessions to motivate clients and achieve individual goals.

Leah has several years of experience working in the NHS in Community Care, Neurological Rehabilitation and Learning Disability Services. She also has 6 years of experience as Therapy Service Lead and co-ordinator in Specialist Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Education settings working with children and young adults with additional needs.

Leah graduated from The University of Nottingham in 2014. She has completed additional training for first aid, APPI Pilates Matwork and Postgraduate Master of Science modules in Rehabilitation.  She has previously run rehabilitation exercise classes for balance and neurological conditions and Hydrotherapy services for a wide range of conditions.  Clinically, she is able to assess and treat the following client groups.

  • Falls, frailty, reduced balance and deconditioning in the elderly.
  • Orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries such as Scoliosis, upper or lower limb pain or dysfunction, arthritis, fracture management and fibromyalgia.
  • Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Acquired Brain Injury and Stroke.
  • Learning disabilities and difficulties such as Developmental Delay, Sensory Dysregulation, Congenital disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Prader-Willi Syndrome and Autism Spectrum.

Alongside work, Leah and her husband enjoy spending time with their son exploring the countryside and caring for animals on the farm. Leah also supports her local riding for disabled group (Wilton RDA) for children and adults with disabilities.
